MacBeth, Ripley, and Surge
MacBeth, Ripley and Surge are going to be permanent residents in our Saintuary. The mother is MacBeth and she is 10 years old. Her daughters, Ripley and Surge are both 8 years old.
Nikki
Nikki is one of our senior citizens. He is hard of hearing and is happy sleeping most of the day, and if not sleeping, eating. Nikki loves to visit senior citizens in nursing homes.
Tillie
What can we say about Tillie? She is one of a kind. The minute we introduced her to our two personal dogs, she took an instant dislike to them. She gets along with other dogs. She loves to cuddle with adults. Tillie walks well on a leash and likes to check out the neighborhood.
Casey
Casey is 7 years old. His "mom" died unexpectedly and family members were not able to care for him. At 180 pounds he is one very huge lovebug - moved right in and made himself at home. He has a great nature and gets along with the other Saints.
Mark
Mark is a full masked, rough coat male Saint. He is believed to be approximately 6 years old. Mark was picked up by animal control and his family did not claim him. Mark has beautiful mahogany rough coat. He loves to chew on large bones.
Seinfeld
Seinfeld has the best personality. He loves to run, dance and fly through the air. He takes afternoon naps. This dog just makes you smile. Seinfeld is a rough coat. He was rescued from a shelter in emaciated condition.
Frazier
Frazier is our "honorary Saint". His heart is all Saint Bernard. He is the protector of the clan - the first one out in the morning to check out the yard. Frazier shows his affection to the other dogs by washing their faces. Frazier was adopted from a shelter on the day he was to be euthanized. That was 10 years ago. We can't understand why people give up their dogs.
Help Sponser A Senior Saint
The Saintuary for Senior Dogs makes a lifetime commitment to every dog that we accept. You can sponsor a permanent Saintuary for Saint Bernards by making a monthly contribution for your sponsored dog's care. Sponsor levels begin with as little as $5.00 a month which helps cover the cost of monthly heartworm pills. Each Senior Saint receives daily vitamins. Those that need it are given Glucosamine, Chondroitin, Fish Oil, vitamin E and specific medicine for arthritis. Veterinary care is available to them 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Helping the Saintuary care for older dogs is rewarding; you have the knowledge that you are personally participating in saving a senior dog's life.
